I'd go w/ the '08 vs '07, small price difference, slightly lower miles, CPO....between those tow choices, the first option is a way better deal. Only downside is no Navi on the '08, but IMO, not a big deal given the other points.

There is no such thing as a 2007 535, they only produced them in '08 and up. It could be an early production model, and all the more reason to be wary of HPFP issues.

If you're not squeemish about buying a car on eBay, I saw this one last night: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/08-BM...item43a4be4eb2 Very nice looking, nice miles and is very nicely loaded up. $29K or make an offer. If you could get this for, say, $25K, it would be a steal.

Sorry that was a typo, it is actually a 2007 550i non-CPO.

I decided to pull the trigger on the 2008 535i. I know there are limitations to the CPO warranty, but given the HPFP issues, I feel more comfortable.

Thanks for the advice guys, I will have to resist the urge to start modding this right away. First purchase is going to have to be a set of winter wheels/tires for next winter. Hopefully, I can make it out of this one fine...

Or the new JB4. One of the things that attracted me to the 535 was that it will smoke a 550 with a simple tune and still get 450+ miles per tank!

Not to get off topic, but how was the install on the JB4? I looked at the installation instructions and it was a little scary..
