Life is a double edged sword sometimes. Today I received my $1000 check from BMW of North America as a rebate for buying my wife's new X5 and being a member of the BMWCCA! Unfortunately, it will exactly cover the deductible for the bodywork the car needed when some mindless S.O.B. keyed the driver's side of her new Sapphire Black beauty. Life is like that sometimes.......

That sucks. I had my jet black E46 keyed within its first 6 weeks.

I'm surprised you've got such a high comprehensive deductible. That smarts.

I've taken the car to a place called Euro-body in your neck of the woods, Tarzana. The guy there does amazing work on cars....he is currently working on Robert Shapiro's 60's convertible Mercedes, and when he drove it in it looked flawless. If his work is good enough for Robert Shapiro, it good enough for me too. Besides, he only works on classic cars regularly, so I figure my new X5 with a few scratches, will be WELL repaired!

At one point, OJ was "good enough" for Robert Shapiro as well. Hopefully, he won't be representing the @$$hole who keyed your car.
