That's awesome K! I am so trying to get out of my lease as well and into an '08 550 Sport, but the penalty I have to pay out of pocket is not worth it. Sucks, as I hate my current car.
One thing though, based on your sig... Are you getting 2 Trunk Spoilers?

-"I just got them 20 's there."
-"Them ain't 20's, but it's off the hook."
-"Them are 20's. No, they're tens. I bought 'em from somebody. But they nice, though. I keep 'em clean"
-" Yeah, they cool. They tight."
Sorry had to get The Next Friday movie quote in there.

W, Love the list of mods so far, save one. From what I've heard and read I wouldn't recommend those wheel disc covers. While they do block brake dust from getting on the wheels they also block air flow through the wheel limiting brake cooling. Instead I would look into AXXIX low dusting brake pads from my ol' pal Dave Zeckhausen of Zeckhausen racing. They work great and virtually eliminate brake dust.
Can't believe you missed my earlier comment...

W550 - I have also heard that the wheels disks are not that effective, and can reduce brake cooling. I would skip that idea...otherwise, sounds great.
Thanks Pineapple boy ! , I'm just envious !!

Thanks again ! I have been thinking about a few "mods". I purchased an M trunk finisher and trunk spoiler ( thanks Gary at Newport BMW ) and will get them painted and installed upon delivery as well as Hoen fog lights. I'm also thinking about a little tinting............ I don't want it dark just a slightly darker subtle shade of tint .............. ? The brake dust issue is something I want to address as well .............. anyone know anything about disc covers? I see them in Autogeek and they look like a good way to block the dust from coming through the spokes ??? As for the exhuast........ the wait is going to get expensive
Cheers

Congrats! Why don't you order factory tinted rear windows? Looks very classy and you won't have to worry about scratches and etc.
