Golf tee mod on 545i?
I just want a little more of a beefy sound from my exhaust, can you even do this to 545s? If so how? Will this damage anything in the long run...?

Basically you know how the second exhaust tip valve doesn't open up till a certain rpm, I guess people know how to let it flow freely just like the other tip and it produces more of a aggressive sound

It's a bit different with the 5 series. The 3 series defaults to having the flap open so simply plugging the vacuum line results in the valve being open at all times. The 5 series defaults to having the valve closed and so blocking off the vacuum line just means the valve will never open.
So on an E60 what you do is remove both vacuum lines from the solenoid and couple them together. Just grab a vacuum coupler from a parts store or you can even just tape the two pieces together with electrical tape. And that's it: done.

Couldn't get the hose off the solenoid! So, I just zip tied it open from the actuator on the exhaust, will I have any problems?
