The only glitch that really gets me is that every time I get in the car I have this uncontrolable urge to smile.

hahah, that's too funny. My glitch is sometimes, the right foot feels a lot heavier then the left foot, and then I hear a roaring sound from the engine compartment.

One big glitch, car said their was a catalytic converter problem and wouldnt allow me to drive faster than 20mph!!! It went away after restarting the car. Also drivers window goes up a bit then goes all the way back down! Weird! 34,000 miles now!

Wow, was your car new when you bought it and what year and engine size. It's a good this there's warranty, but man, what a waste of time in the shop. Hopefully, your dealer can make it better so you can enjoy your ride.

By definition, a glitch is something that happens out of normal operations but fixed itself after reboot, reset, or some non dealership involvement.

What glitches have you experienced with your E60? [snip]
After 6 weeks of trouble free motoring (apart from the traffic), I am now the happy owner of two glitches - one common, the other fairly unusual:

1. I-drive freeze while navigating. Only happened once; cured by re-booting (pressing both eject buttons + volume knob simultaneously).

2. The automatic tilting external mirror became a little confused, and it spent a good two minutes oscillating up and down and bobbing a little sideways when I was parking last week. Once I moved the mirror manually, it seemed to sort itself out. It was funny to watch...
