What are all these buttons for? How do you see anything on that little radio screen? Why can't I just push the steering wheel button and say what I want the car to do? I miss I-drive. *scream*

I;m no slim Jim the seats were cutting into my hips and sides, it was guzzling fuel more than mine it was a 2.0d 144hp auto(thankfully), missed the one touch indicators of the 5 also, the wipers weren't any good either lol.

Dropped the car off at the dealer last night for a service and scope, as well as a niggling vibration around 2800 rpms when cold. They gave me a 2009 328xi for the night. Man, we are spoiled.
Initial impressions:
Feels like getting into a 4x4 those side skirts are so high on the non-sport xi.
Doors are pretty thin, light and tinny when they close.
Same with the trunk. (How do people manage having to lift their own trunk lid!)
I had to *gasp* manually adjust my steering wheel! The horror.
I was almost blinded the whole drive home by the Hummer behind me. How do people live without a self-dimming rear view mirror or an electric rear shade?
Why is this steering wheel so thin? Why is this horn so big?
What? No satellite radio? Guess I'll listen to AM then.
What are all these buttons for? How do you see anything on that little radio screen? Why can't I just push the steering wheel button and say what I want the car to do? I miss I-drive. *scream*
No Bluetooth. Dammit, how do I turn the radio down?... my phone is ringing. Where is the speaker phone button on my phone? Ooops, that's the rumble strip on the thruway.
Where are my articulating comfort seats? How do people sit in these "straight" seats?
Finally, going from a manual 535 to an auto 328, I now see what everyone talks about with the "lag" in the drive by wire accelerator. How cow, you almost need to press the gas a full second early if you want to scoot through an intersection or on to the highway. Very scary. Underpowered car imo.
Anyway, I'll be glad to get my 535 back today. Give Thanks to those you appreciate.
