Yes, bordom is the the word Ellicit,

I also get bored with cars and women in a year.

Ladies are much cheaper to change,
cars I try to keep for 2-3 years.

Now is no time to change cars, the market sucks bad.
In the USA, it would be much cheaper to buy a line of BMW dealerships than divorce.......

i know what you are going through - i have this issue everytime i have owned a car for 6 months...

if you are after the 6 series, get it sooner than later. in a year or 2, there will be a new 6er... you dont wanna own a car then that is outdated...

if this is the case you should never "own" it, simply lease them if you are worried about it being outdated.

I love my e60 (though, yes, I would love to give it some more power!), but the other day I was at my friend's dealership in Astoria and he has this silver 645... mmmmm... with the dark red interior... that V8 sounds so awesome... man, what a car! If I had the stupidity to overspend so much that I went and bought it, chances are I'd be the happiest guy on skid row, but alas, I'm not in the market at this moment... but, dude, if you can do it financially and live to tell the story, hell, its not even a question - not to me, anyway - get the 6 and love it!!!

I'm sorry I just don't feel it for the 6. A sporty coupe should not be that big and heavy. If you're going to go with two doors, there's the Cayman S, C6, Z4 3.5i, 135i, 335i, 370Z, G37 or if you want to save a little, the Hundai Genesis Coupe. All of those cars will be as capable as a 650i and cost less. (Even the Porsche, if you skimp on the options)

If the source of your boredom is from a lack of power go 335i or maybe to save a little money, Pontiac G8 GT.

To stay within the E60 family, go with the 535i.

The 6 isn't meant to be a sport coupe. Its a luxury GT, to compare with the Jag XK8, etc. But it also can do quite well in the twisties and on-track if you want it to.

The new 2010 MB e class will be in showrooms this summer......2 door or 4 door version. I think it's pretty compelling
