Manual Transmission fluid? or Auto Transmission fluid?
X-Driver Transfer case?
BTW, anyone notice that we don't have drain plug in rear diff. ( you will never need to replace according to BMW. ) Seems I only see fill pulg in e60 rear diff. It will be sucks if we need to use sucker to suck it.

i just hit 50k on my car this week. i changed the rear diff oil and it came out perfectly clean. it almost looked brand new. i just sucked it out with a mityvac fluid evactuator and then re-filled it.

Where did you find the oil tank give me a hint man ??!!

If there is no drain plug, just unbolt and brake the seal on the diff cover. Once its drained, re-seal (with new gasket) and add fresh gear oil. Shouldn't take no more than 30 mins.
