I've been having an issue with the gearbox in my auto 2008 528i recently. Tonight while I was driving home on the freeway I had it in manual mode with the car in 6th gear. When I put my foot down a bit (without using the kickdown) the gearbox shifted up to I think 5th and the rev needle seemed to wobble a bit and then when I lifted it shifted back down. None of that should happen wile in manual mode so I'm wondering what's going on (especially with the wobbly feel and revs when that happens). Please help!
