Filled up yesterday after driving on "zero miles to go" for what seamed like forever and put in 18.3 gallons (without any top offs!).

My 535 holds 18.5 gallons. I would imagine the 550 is the same.

18.5 US gallons (approximately 70 litres) for a completely empty tank is the most I have ever put in.

In case you aren't aware, I have read that driving low on fuel will add stress and may do damage to the electric fuel pump. I think these fuel pumps are actually cooled and lubricated by the fuel and without it they will wear out. But I can understand your curiosity as I have practiced this myself on the odd occasion, but I haven't driven to the point where my Distance to Empty computer displays 0kms.

I believe in the past its been said its recommended that you dont drive when the estimated miles left to fill up is below 30 miles
