before my accident the average gas mileage was 19-20mpg. After the body shop gave it back to me i filled the tank up and drove about 10 miles or so. an eighth of the gas was gone so i then checked the average mpg. it dropped to 14mpg. anyone know why this can be?

and another thing, behind the grill is like another grill type of housing that seems to open when air is forcing onto it (when i drive)...is this something new? i never had it before...and because of it i cant install my rpi scoop

the body shop reset the MPG average when they (hopefully) disconnected the battery to do their work. 10 miles isn't enough for a decent MPG average. it'll go up once you take a few trips on the highway.

 

that grill thing you're talking about comes on the diesel cars. maybe the bodyshop installed the wrong parts.

 

i think im gonna remove it. plus i spent money on the scoop
