Default Gas Milage

Hi Guys,

What is everyone's average gas mileage?

I have a 2009 535xi with 74,xxx miles, only mod under the hood is dci, car is on stock wheels, most driving is done locally. With only city driving I get less than 200 miles to the tank. (I don't use DS on the side streets)

Highway driving the gas usage is excellent, I can easily get 300+ miles to the tank (even with driving in DS, )

One a side note, any XI owners with AP DP's?
how do you like them, hows the sound, hows the response, gas mileage?

I have a v8(545i) and i average about 280-300 on a full tank with both city/freeway driving. Plus carrying my golf set in the trunk and a baby car seat...also, last weekend has been the first time I've filled up for under 50 bucks. I hope gas stays low like this for at least a year, so I can enjoy the car for a bit longer before I get something else.

Thanks for the feedback...that sounds great for a V8.

With the winter mix I'm doing 19.8mpg with mixed city and highway... I really say mixed, because only sometimes in the morning my commute is nice and steady.. always going home it's at least double the time.. so much stop and go on the highway it's probably like driving local.

Summer I get 22mpg. I am running DCI and JB4 but it was the same before I had the JB4. I'd say drive a little nicer.. getting the car moving from a stop takes a lot of gas

Cost around £115 to fill the tank here lol But will get 400-600 miles out it depending on driving, 530d the thought of getting 2-300 to a tank would make me cry with our fuel prices.

2010 535i - I get about 18mpg with mix driving which gets me about 360 per tank. Car gets in d/s and sport mode often. I can get 27mpg on straight highway traveling for road trips at 80 - 85 mph cruise control. No engine mods.

I get about 11.5L/100km with mixed driving. Winter conditions tip it over 12, worse when it's super cold, like -20C or lower. Usually get 550km+ /tank.

Gas prices lately are less than C$0.80/L so I'm not sure I really care how much gas I burn. But if the world oil prices go back up...
