In my haste to get out on the road from my dealer, i left the manual behind. He is mailing it to me as I live 2 hours away. Can someone tell me how to program the garage/gate remote into the buttons under the rearview mirror?
thanks

Try this link first:
http://www.homelink.com/training/train.taf?do=start

If that doesn't help you out, do a forum search. (You can use the search term "homelink" to find a bunch of stuff...)

I can't remember exactly. It seems lile I just held the door remote near, and pointed at, the mirror and, then, pushed and held the mirror button I wanted to "store in" for five or ten seconds. I can't remember if anything flashed after the storing was done. In general, as I recall, the procedure is consistent with the commonly used procedures for storing remote instructions.

It's a little trickier for doors with a rotating code which are more and more common these days for security reasons. I just programmed my 5 and X5 last night.

It's all in the manual which is linked at:

Right, the rotating codes are a bigger issue.

The link I provided should be all that's needed. It takes you directly to homelink's site where you enter in your car make and model number and garage door make. After that, everything you need is shown...

The trick that isn't explained in the manual is that when training the rolling code you have to hold the button down for 2 seconds on each press. On my first several attempts I just pressed and released the button 3 times, and nothing!
