Need a bit of advice.
As some of you might be aware that the 5er had been stolen over 5 weeks ago.
The insurance company have offered to pay out and am now waiting for the BMW GAP insurance to pay the difference (RTI GAP Insurance), how long do i have to wait before the GAP insurance actually pay out?
All the documents which the GAP insurance required has been sent over to them.
Any idea's on how long i might be waiting??

Did you finance the car through BMW?
I'd think it would only take a few business days to complete the transaction. I'd call someone at the office and have them explain.

GAP are brill, when I had my accident GAP payed out faster than my insurance did, GAP is the best to thing to have when owning cars like this.

Yep i financed my car from BMW, BMW use St Andrews as their GAP Insurance providers, I'm just curious as as soon as the GAP Pays out i can go and by another car.

I have seen a few 535D's and as soon as i pick it up im going to give you a call as want all the functions unlocked which you did on the older 5er for me i.e Alarm Chirp, Seat Heating Slide etc.
How long did it take for your GAP to pay you out?

Called them today and they confirmed they had received all the documents and is pending review.
just want to hear from them by friday so i can go pick up another car from BMW by next week.

Can`t fault BMW finance there were brill with me, I was stuck between a rock and hard place as I was paying out for a hire car and needed to get shot of it, there were very helpful.
