I finally had my windshield replaced today and after I sat down in it I was like wow this is clear. I mean wow! I can see clearly all the way up the top of my windshield...

wait a minute....

I thought the top of my windshield was tinted from the factory?


I was ready to call up Safelite when I decided to look at my pictures of the car. I don't think it was ever tinted!



Out of all the cars I have I think this is the first car I have with no factory tint on top.

Which is funny because I have HUD and rain sensor but not tint?


Maybe cars with HUD don't have tint?

 

Get the entire winshield ceramic tinted with airblue 80 for $100. You can keep all that sunny socal out.

 

My windshield is tinted....

 

Mine is factory tinted, and i just applied a new layer of tint on top of it

 

I actually kind of like the full clear view I have currently. I may add tint later as needed.
