Unhappy

So I have a funny yet annoying situation with my horn. For some reason, on the way home from work Tuesday night, my horn started to randomly honk. Now it basically honks every time I make a slight turn. Now everyone and their mom thinks im either psycho or a complete a-hole whenever I drive by. Its actually pretty funny.

Anyways, I have a 9am appointment at Crevier BMW in Orange CA to figure this out. Good thing im under warranty......theyd probably charge me $500 just for a randon wire issue.

Anyone had this prob?

THanks,
Rob

I'm sorry to laugh at your situation, but your discription is freaking HILLARIOUS!!! I sure hope the dealer gets that fixed. I was just sitting here and played that out in my head. Sounds like a classic Steve Martin scene!!! Good luck!!

Haha im laughing with you man. I just dropped it off at the dealership, and the darn thing kept honking on the way in. Basically everyone was laughing once I explained that it had a mind of its own. As the service guy drove the car off it kept honking too. It was awesome.

On the plus side, they gave me a fully loaded 335 sedan with sports package. Wow, the thing is incredible! From the handling to the acceleration. Great job BMW on the new 335. Oh and they had a white M3 with a $17k mark-up lol

Too funny! That's great-- I just hope my horn doesn't start this behavior, too. The horn... that's my one "disappointment" so far with this 1-week old car: the horn sounds way too American for my tastes. I always liked the Bimmer 'beep beep' sound they used to have, much more European. This sounds like a Buick.

True that!!!! That seems to be the DEFAULT answer to darn near EVERYTHING!!!! I have a CD player about to go and a rear turn signal that acts up only when I'm around, but not when the SA is standing there.

Ok, my car is back and good to go. The problem was reported to be a "short" in the airbag sensor.....or something along those lines. All repairs were free as usual
