My Ride: 2008 535i: June 6th start build, complete June 17th, at NY Port July 5th, at dealer July 10th, took delivery Friday July 13- Plantimum Bronze/Natural Brown Leather/Light Poplar, Sport Package, Sport Auto, Active Steering, Premium Package, CWP & PDC. Some racing fuels (100 Octane and higher) still have tetraethyl lead in them. If you are running a catalytic converter, it will destroy the converter and can cause serious engine damage.
Here's the mix I have done in the past:
110: 3 Gallons (the rest being standard 93)
100: Half tank (the rest being standard 93)

European octane rating is Ron and worked out differently from that in the US which is AKI. The US rating is about 5 lower than the same fuel in Europe. So your 100 octane is 95 in the US.
