Fuel tank/ fuel pump problem???

Nope. The voltage always read 11.9 with engine off ignition on and 14v with engine on.
The 4.5A is the current flow to the fuel pump.

I suspect the resistance could have been high and it reduced the current going to the pump. But the resistance check on both ground and positive wires are fine. Now I am thinking of the connector itself.

Kinda feeling hopeless.

It's a hard thing to troubleshoot. Use INPA to assist you in further detail. I suspected the connector being the issue but other than it not being cleaned or plugged in all the way there should not be an issue.

I used INPA to track down the current at fuel pump and under normal running it still shows 8.0 ampe at idle. Whereas the error log shows only 4.5ampe at time of occurrence so I think it is an issue with either grounding or connector.


Connect is tight snuck in so the only way to trace now is the grounding for EKPS :-( Wish me luck
