Thanks ,, this was the only option besides a new fuel rail . But for the six cylinders they have a quick connect at each end of the hose , so it can be disconnected from the rail .In those cases it's better to just order a new fuel line hose for around 50 bucks. But the 545 has a crimped hose connection at the fuel rail .. I didn't see the logic to replace a perfectly good fuel rail and spend 300 bucks on it ..

I have repaired the fuel line. The quick disconnect blew off once. I must not have had it in far enough. Now it is fine. Thank you everyone for your assistance and advice.

Thanks H f and pcy. I finally have the leak fixed. It blew apart at the quick disconnect twice. I guess I didn't push in far enough. It's fine now. Thanks again.

This is how I fixed my leak .. The pictures PCY posted are the first fix I did to get out of the situation which did stop the leak and it did work .. I then updated the repair cause I was just not happy with the way it looked... Here are the new pics and parts you need . You can find the quick connect at NAPA and they also carry them at O Reileys .. Since I fixed it it has not leaked again . There has been three other members on other forums that have done it with 100% success . One member did have a bad connector and leaked but returned it and the second one did the trick and was fine . I did end up putting two clamps on the new quick connector i recommend it if you decide to go with this fix..
Also so you dontt have to cut the original lock ring in half like I did cause the new one is thinner . Here is the part number for a new lock ring NAPA p/n 730-5729 , Advance and Auto Zone use Dorman p/n 800-189
Here is my thread on it if your interested .

You push the metal pipe in towards the connector end...then, simultaneously push the plastic collar in towards the connector side...while pushing the plastic collar in, it should move just about 1/4"-ish...keep the collar pushed in and now withdraw the metal pipe.
