Running the car at the dealer before handover for 2 hours with 16, 15, ...6 miles left. The car wasn't moved while trying all the features. I figured if it quit, it was their problem. Shows how close the gage was. It doesn't help explain why they don't have a commensurate accuracy for the spedometer and odo. BTW, it arrived with only 1 mile on the odo... unusual, eh?

I too have noticed that the E60 fuel gauge is a lot more sensitive/accurate and moves quite quickly from the Full indicator (obviously not noticed by the diesel drivers
).
