The fuel gauge meter of my E60 started to drop 10-12km of driving after fill up a full tank of petrol,is it normal?
Because my another car(Alphard and Audi90) will indicate as full tank for the first 4-50km before started to fall
I know that make no difference in fuel consumption but at least I feel much better this way....

THat just means that the BMW fuel guage is more accurate. Many cars do not measure the top levels of fuel accurately and just start measuring after about 3 gallons have gone.

I'll check it too.. I actually never look at my fuelgauge untill the fuelsign comes up in the warningscreen with the bling blong.. In the next 5 series they will probably remove that gauge to because nobody uses it heheheehe. (just kidding)

Actually if you use the function on the dash where you can see how many miles you have left in gas, you will see that it starts dropping right away.

That's right, Skipper, all things being equal. However, if you change your driving pattern for better gas mileage after refueling, the range can actually increase.
