front seats "stretched out" in a$$ area...

dont know if you guys and gals have this problem but my seats seem to be stretched out in the a$$ area. does anyone have any ideas how to "re-form" the leather?

Seem common problem, all owner should also like that. I think due to seat design since I found X3 seat not like this which have 2 stitches vertical cross.

Ive had this problem in all my cars that had leather seats. Ive usually changed the leather at the dealership. NOT UNDER WARRANTY... Slimfast help also.

this is natural for leather to do this, it will stretch just like your leather shoes. If they sewed it tighter to avoid stretch wrickles you would have more burst seams because its pulled too tight initially.

eh I got the same problem goin on... like everyone said, it's normal for leather to do that.

My Ride: 2006 525XI, Jet black on Dakota beige. Premium and winter packages. I consider myself a purist and intend to keep my car absolutely stock and shiny. 2008 328I Convertible, Sapphire black on beige interior. Premium package, NAV, iPod adapter. Retired: 2002 325I, Titanium silver on black leather. Premium package. Absolutely stock and proud of it.

This is normal leather behavior and I am not sure you can really reform it. I think it gives the seat a unique characteristic. Just think, would you want to get rid of the ass print if it was made by Christina Aguilera?

I have had the same problem with the leather seats, they do stretched out in most cases.
Just, look at any test drive car in any magazine, all the seats need a "face lift".

My fabric-leather-sport seats are good.







If anyone is interested, the leather is not the same "buffalo quality" it was and will not be, if you don't pay hard.
I just hope this depression will bring out the quality back again, but I really doubt it.
