Front Seat Noise

NOT FOR ME!!!!!! it happens when the sunroof is closed. It is definitely coming from under the passenger seat and it sounds like metal banging together.

i have a noise that sounds like a plastic cover is loose or something under the car. Haven't gotten around to checking it yet

I had this knocking sound under the driver seat. took off the covers around the seat and lubricated all the bolts and moving parts with teflon spray. no knocking sound now.

This is why I love this forum! It was the sunroof. As soon as I "popped" it, the clanging noise started. Put my hand over the deflector and it stopped.

How can the roof make a sound that sounds like two Olympic weights banging? The reason I say this is I'm also getting this same sound.

the problem is that the wing or air deflector has a bit of a twist in it. It is easy to fix by grasping both ends and torquing the wing so it no longer touches the glass. It does not need to be replaced.

I have been there!
