Default Front end overhaul

Guys,

My passenger side headlight is broken on my 2008 535xi. I have the factory halogens in both headlights but have wanted to upgrade to the brighter AE and lights. Should I replace this headlight with xenon or put a halogen back in it then upgrade both headlights. If I go with xenon how would I match the drivers headlight?

This is my first BMW and have been reading this forum for a while. Thanks in advance for your insight...

You have halogen, so stick with it. Philips Extreme Halogen Bulbs are the best. Sylvania Silverstar is another option.

Halogen vs Xenon are different animals; so "dance with the one that brought you."

The simplest route would be to stay on LCI halogens. You can't exactly replace one side of the light with something different and have everything work in harmony.

Even if you replace both sides with xenons, you'll need to have some wiring work, and coding done.

As far as brighter angel eye option, feel free to PM me or check out my Facebook page in my signature.
