...... BMW does not make cupholders for european drivers because in Europe it's all about the driving and not drinking coffe while driving.
Well, they did put two in mine. I think I've used them twice in a year and I was parked both times...

Well, I meant the real Europe. UK is closer to USA habits than any other country and might as well be called USA Jr.

Trust me ... you're not missing much!

I use my 'cupholders' to hold my Orbit gum container. NO DRINKING IN MY CAR!

Anytime I have a front seat passenger taller than 6' they are constantly hitting a knee on it! I'm afraid one of these days they'll break the thing off!

i broke off my friends cup holder on his e60 btw i am 6'2 lol

I hate my cupholders. The first thing that people do who have never been in my car is hit the button for the driver cup holder. That makes me SNAP.
So many people have done that for NO reason, that it takes some wiggling and effort to come out now. Besides that, they suck and can barely hold my coffee up-right.

+1 on the fact that BMW doesnt want to cosign drinks, and want you to focus on the road, driving, etc so ive heard...

Yeah but it sucks that they would dictate what you should/shouldn't do. I have cup holders and use them alot for driving (1.5hr trips each way). I always keep a bottle of water there for trips. (I do understand not putting coffee, cans, and such in case they spill but bottles are in more use these days I think... )

LOL same here that is the first thing they do is retract the fucking cup holders and say "that's cool" I am thinking what about all the real "cool" stuff my car has that i paid $$$ for.

side note: i like the cup holders they work for me.

My 6 year old son put his chewing gum in one of the cupholders. In an effort to hide his "crime", he closed it. You can imagine the mess with all the folding bits of the cupholder mechanism closing around this wollop of a piece of gum! The dealer had to remove a part of the dash to get it out. Wasn't covered by the service plan, so it cost me a pretty penny!

PS: Needless to say, chewing gum is not allowed within a 100 yards of my car any more!

i think the cup holders are cool, and i use them every day to hold soft drinks.
i also eat fast food in my car....whats the matter with you people? my house cost 50 times more than my car, and i eat in there so why not the car? i have a good valet company and a good air freshner so all is ok

live your life and stop worrying about some crumbs...they hoover up you know.
