Shitty Deal!! Luckily you have cat like relexes and dodged the majority.

Looks like a pretty simple fix though...

Sorry to hear about what happened -- Glad you're ok... doesn't look too bad, looks to be paint work at most.

Heck, this might even work --

Good luck and keep us posted.

i feel for you... the road to my school gets all sorts of craps all the time... blown tires in the middle of the road, cardboard boxes, water bottles... yes my major school campus is in the outskirts of Bangkok, so I have to drive on pretty messed up roads. To add to that, they're always fixing the road and developing the area around it, so there's sand, tiny rocks, all sorts of crap flying at my car. I bet you guys have never seen so many rock chips on a car's bumper and hood, if you saw mine. Also, I clench everytime i drive to school, bad experience with 2 broken windshield in two weeks...

That's sucks, it happened to me few months ago when the car in front of me could not avoid a piece of rubber on the HWY that flew and hit my bumper in almost the exact spot you got hit but it broke my fog light and I had to replace it.

Driving North on the 101/405 connector. The idiot driver in front of me didn't swerve in time to dodge what looked to be a rear parcel shelf. So the civic kicks it up, straight into me. dodged most of it but it still got me on the lower driver side bumper. Heard it hit (felt like it hit me directly in kidney), anyway, here's the result

I've already put in a call to these guys:

http://www.amazingbumper.com/index.htm

I had to use them for my wife's car last month, pleased with their work, hopefully it'll work out alright for me as well. Damage doesn't seem to deep, just some good scrapes. Hopefully some rubbing compund and buff will do it. Not looking to upgrade to an M-tech kit so please don't say it
