I have rear ended someone few hours ago . The driver of car I hit decided not go thru yellow light at the intersection as there was a cop in the on coming traffic, I have slammed the brakes, but could not avoid him, though I probably reduced the speed of the impact to 10 mph. The driver got out of the car apologized, and took off 2 mins before the cop pulled up to me. I wanted to get an estimate, but everything is closed by now. I would appreciate if anyone can tell at how much I have to spend to fix my car. Thanks

Don't know, but when you find out, you will likely want to use your collision coverage for repairs. This will not be cheap.

Maybe it's just the lighting in the pics, but it appears as though there's damage to the lower portion of your hood on the driver's side above the kidney grill. I'd be very surprised if it's under $3,000.

Do you have insurance? If You do, I think it's better if you repair it through your insurance. It must be pretty expensive considering the damage..
Good Luck..

my deductible is only $250 so I am pretty well covered. I would just hate for the premiums to increase....unfortunately there is some damage to the hood, there is a approx. a 1/8 inch space between the bmw emblem and the hood.

alex I would get an mtech bumper from quad m and the kidney grilles. After youve installed them get an estimate which looks like the hood work and aligning the hood. If body shops see bumper and kidney damage theyll charge 50% over mtech bumper and inexpensive kidney grilles.
