I was told by the dealer that the front brakes and rotors on my 07 550i needed to be replaced, I'm thinking on buying something better that the OEM, however i'm only replacing the from since the rear have about 20K left, is this a good idea or i should replace both front and rear?

Any suggestions? Also any tips on the a good brand for the brakes ?

No need to replace the rear...seems like lots of people here got their brake parts from Michael, Acute Performance. Check out the vendor forum and PM him for pricing.
