Ordered my e60 in Oct and still waiting. Told one of my friends how great it was and he went out and looked at e60's. Told him to search here for info. He bought one. Got it before me - told me I can come look at it if I want - anyway...asked him what he thought of the site and he said we were fanatics. Can't diasgree with him. I'm living here until my car gets here.

What? Just because I talk about my E60 and have 5 other colleagues at work now driving BMWs because they've heard from me that BMWs are awesome, or the fact that our dog's name is "Roundel"

"Fanatic"? Yeah, I can live with that!

After 35 years of them, I'll cop to that.

Me too. This will be my third bimmer and I know there will be a 4th, 5th, etc. The wait for this car seems worse than for my e39.

I am more fanatical about discussion boards than things. I currently am very interested in my newish 545i; thus, I have ended up hooked on this board. It has the best software I have ever seen and is populated by a very enjoyable international group. And, of course, it is a great place to get info. My wife says I am obsessed when I get involved with a discusson board, and she is right. Despite all of this, I am not obsessed with BMWs. I don't owe my soul to any person, company, or thing. Tennessee Ernie taught me to avoid situations like:

"You load sixteen tons and what do you get. Another day older and deeper in debt. St. Peter don't you call me cause I can't go. I owe my soul to the company sto."

Dunno about fanatic, but it's an obsession for me
