Default Foxwell NT510 Elite or Foxwell NT530?

Foxwell NT510 Elite has the same features, language, and vehicle coverage as NT530, the hardware is slightly different, but cheaper and more cost-effective than NT530.

I am also considering buying the exact same NT510 Elite. I hear it is better because it includes Battery Registration.

With Foxwell, lower model numbers will have better features than higher model numbers. I am still awaiting an email response from them to verify that the NT510 Elite actually performs Battery Registration. Some ads I see state it does and others state it does not and so its a bit confusing.

@linxuan I just found this nt510 nt510 elite nt530 comparison.

Some can get it to work and some can't. The easiest way is to get a used laptop and ask around for the software. That way you can do everything.

Well if it works with my BMW cars, that's all I care about.

I have three Surface tablets and a laptop but I prefer to use a compact device to keep in my car.

A surface is compact. But I do understand. I have my setup on my surface and it's been the best with troubleshooting and coding.

I like to keep a reader in my car. I let other people borrow it too. No way I'm loaning out my Surface.
