It fell off....They didn't pop the whole thing off which would have been way easier then trying to seperate the two....The glue thats holds it together probably came loose.....

This happened to me back in the winter. I woke up one morning when i was out of town and walked out to the car and noticed the exact same thing you're looking at. The roundel itself was still there and there was no evidence of anyone trying to pry it off but the paint was completely gone. I called the dealer and they said that sometimes the clear coat on the paint can come off and once that happens the paint will peel off almost in sheets rather than chipping away like you might expect.
The funny thing is when i returned from my trip my wife's roundel was showing the same thing. Her's wasn't completely gone yet but it wouldn't have taken more than a drive down the interstate to pull it off.
Just order a new one and install it yourself if you're not under warranty. It's really easy and the roundels are less than 10$ if i remember from bavarian autosport.

Little too much chrome for me!
Actually this was a CF roundel...I still have my originals. I'm thinking I need to get a replacement CF one

Not a problem. they don't cost more than $15 and the dealer will put it on for free on a slow day.
