Found a small software bug last night

Navigation and night vision people, give the following a try and see what happens...
At night, select something to view in the right pane (assist window) like a map. Note the display brightness (should be dimmed automatically for nighttime viewing) then turn on the night vision system (not full screen mode.)
When the night vision image is overlayed over the left pane, the right pane reverts back to full brightness (like it would be in the daytime.)
This may sound like no big deal but at night, especially on the highway, I try to keep everything as dim as possible to help me see better...
