My poor 545 has been at the dealer for the past three weeks. They gave me a 2011 335 as a loaner which felt like a go cart but I kind of got used to it I guess. I got back in my 545 today and instantly remembered why I traded my 330 for a 5 series. . Soooooo much more comfortable and roomy and to be honest, the power of the 335 didn't really impress me much. It definitely handled like a dream though and the paddle shifters were fun. Not sure why I even posted this, just glad to have MY car back.

Transmission had to be replaced and since it was not CPO they had to find a used one with fewer miles (dealer warranty).

Ouch. How much did that cost you out of pocket? What kind of dealer warranty was it?

If it was, as he stated, CPO - it cost him $50 out of pocket.

Sorry, you are correct, must've cost more than I'd be willing to pay.
