I just came back from my dealer.
Now the mirrors fold when I hold my lock button pressed (on my key)!
It's great !!!

yes I want that activated too...did the dealer charge you to activate it?
when you open the car do the mirrors unfold on their own or do you still have to press the button. I have noticed if i drive off with mine still folded that once i reach 30mph they unfold on their own anyway...neat.

Didn't charge me.
When you unlock the car they unfold. They don't unfold when you folded them manually by pressing the button on the door.
I've noticed that too, that when you leave them folded that they unfold at a certain speed. And they stay unfolded, even when you park the car then.
I really like that, because you can forget and the car takes care...
The fold function for the remote is really cool. I have it for only a couple hours now and I can't stop playing with it!

Yes, it works on mine too, after the update,
BUT
did you notice that the disadvantage is that you turn OFF the movement sensor inside the car conneted to the burglar alarm system ?!

You press and hold down the lock button, and the car gets locked up, windows closed and the mirrors fold - the alarm is on, inclusive the interior sensor! When you release the button and press "again" the sensor gets deactivated!

No folding mirrors in the USA on the E60.
That makes it a "not available" function in the USA, since the folding mirrors are required.
