Default Fog Light Question

I was thinking of getting an HID kit for my fog lights. Has anyone done this and if so has there been any problems due to the heat coming from the ballasts or bulb? I am pulled between an amazon HID kit and the WeissLicht LED Fog Light Bulbs.

Can someone share some wisdom with me on this please.

I changed my fog lights out to a CANBUS HID system. I tried DDM Tuning HID kits and even with the Error Eliminators or BOW3 they sell, the HIDs never stopped flashing or stopped lighting altogether. I replaced the kit with a CANBUS HID and it has worked flawlessly since then.

Is this the kit you are refering to?

Amazon.com: OPT7® Premium Error-Free AC Canbus HID Kit - H7 (6000K, Lightning Blue) - 2 Year Warranty: Automotive Amazon.com: OPT7® Premium Error-Free AC Canbus HID Kit - H7 (6000K, Lightning Blue) - 2 Year Warranty: Automotive

Which color did you go with? I was thinking of going 5000k to keep it clean.

I have HID from unmitza and they work very well. I don't drive around with my fogs on unless they are needed though.

I to have the same kit from Umnitza however I don't use it anymore since my bumper doesn't have fog lights. PM me if you want more details since I had them listed here locally for $50.

Yep, our Canbus kit is great for the fogs. Guaranteed no error, but if you can get it for $50 - get it for $50
We charge $95 for it. Granted we only offer the warranty to the first purchaser but for $50, it's a good deal.

This would be your best option.

I have had no luck with these error cancellers. Sometimes they work, others times they flicker, so I went with a CANBUS system. It is also one less thing to have to find a place to mount.

Error cancelers are yet another problem area to check, mount, and troubleshoot.
