My Ride: 535d Sport in Carbon Black / high gloss shadow line and beige leather / dark poplar with professional nav, bluetooth phone prep, CD changer, bi-xenon adaptive headlamps, servotronic steering, folding mirrors, heated comfort seats, TV, extended voice control and Logic 7 hifi.
Thumbs up

I had aux inpuit fitted yesterday (which isn't working yet of course), but I seem to have lost the Autostore feature on FM - just doesn't appear on the menu and I'm sure it was there before - and of course it is in the manual.

Do you have it? Have you seen it dissapear?

Cheers, Clive

When v13.2 s/w was put on mine it did disappear. It doesn't bother me too much as I use CD most of the time... They may of upgraded the s/w installing the aux?

I've had the Aux input installed which obviously doesn't work but I do still have the FM autostore function.

Do you have an "All Stations" function on FM now? BMW replaced autostore with all stations on the two-tuner radios.

Once you understand how it works, it's much better than autostore...

What do you mean "obviously doesn't work"? Why doesn't it? Is it obvious to everyone but me?? And I dense about this?

Tcumbo: It's "obvious" because it seems that the majority of installs of aux in don't work first time and have to go back to the dealer

Rudi: Yes, I do have "All Stations". Are you saying this is kind of a automatic auto-store? Can you expand on how / what it is meant to do?

Thanks, Clive

Clive

All stations is a dynamically updating list of all the stations available in whatever area you happen to be in.

So, similar to "autostore" but much, much more powerful.

"Autostore" would be quite more static than the "All stations" function.

Most E60s are equipped with the "Professional" radio which has two tuners. One of the tuners is tuned to the station that you're listening to, while the other is constantly on the search for frequencies, and constantly updates the "All stations" list - very powerful, yes.

It's kind of been covered already but you can click here to read a discussion between me and skidster with regard to the benefits or "All Stations" over "Autostore."
