Wow, it seems bugs in the lighting is not a rare occurrence!

use compressed air and a vaccum to get it out. I have one too, pre-LCI. Been there for a long time for about 4 years. I just dont care too much to take it out., it's grown on me.

I disagree - using compressed air etc may cause it to become more tightly wedged in.

Instead remove the lamp assembly ... use a vacuum cleaner and suck it out through one of the socket holes in the back of the lamp housing. Careful about too much vacuum suction though - suck carefully and shake the lamp to dislodge the bugger!!

I'm about to go pull one off if I can. Any advice? Plan on just removing the inside panel and hopefully exposing the attachment points. We'll see.

ETA: It's off, but it's still not obvious how to get the spiders out. I don't want to take it all apart...

Post some pics of possible exit holes. I hope it's not like one those fish traps where they swim in but can't swim out.

I didn't get them out. I could get them out of the clear section, but not back into the red to get them out of the holes there.

I lost this round...just put it back together and wait until you guys figure out how to get them out.
