My nephews picks up his 5 this week. Mine is two weeks behind him and our dealer is telling us that floor mats are $125? Is this correct that floor mats are not included? This was not the case with my 3.

I also heard they're not standard. All I needed to do was complain to my salesman. I'm not sure how it is in other countries, but they will bend over backwards for you because they want "5"s when you rate them on the forthcoming JD Power survey. The salesman and his boss all have bonuses tied to those scores.

I got free floor mats, but there was a little dirt on them from when the detailers got in the car and maybe other sevice people. So I got a second set of mats for free also and even talked them out of a specific keychain (the one with a 5 on it).

So in a nutshell, stay on your salesman. A car costing this much should come with those.

Also here in Slovenia you have to pay 160 euros for them. But all salesmen offer an discount for the car which includes the floor mats. Basically you order them, but you dont have to pay for them.

FWIW, I think that floormats are standard in the USA on 545's. I think I recall reading delivery stories to that effect on other posts.

Also, E60's delivered via the European Delivery program come with floormats installed at the Munich delivery center.

actually, the floormats is not standard equipment. but, in common the dealer always give that as a standard service from them. but the car doesnt really include the floormats.
in my case, before i gave my check to them, i asked for the floormats (all season) . the first time they gave me the carpet one (i dont like them). so its actually standard in terms of customer satisfaction by the dealer, not by BMW in terms of equipment.

They were not standard on my545i. I ask the saleman and he threw it in free!
Even he thought it was crazy not to include!
