I am starting to believe that it very well may be a false alarm myself, how do you reset the alert?

speaking of tire problems- my sensor went off yesterday for the second time in about 6 weeks. The first time the right front tire was a little low on air so the dealer filled it and reset the FTM. Today they said the tire has abnormal wear and since i'm less than 20,000 miles (at about 15k) there is a tech bulletin from BMW that says they can replace ALL 4 TIRES FOR FREE. Other than taking about 2 hours i'm quite pleased. This experience suggests going to the dealer first might pay off for these kinds of issues. Now to work on my mp3 capability!

Stunning result 4 new tyres after 15K miles. Now if you can only pull it off again in another 15K you'll be laughing.

Question... they just replaced your tires just like that? cuz your RFT monitor went off??? Geeeeeeeeeeee

Wait another question... have you ever checked and filled the air in your tires yourself other than the dealer??

i still think the system it's incomplete .... it was supposed to tell us which tire has a flat tire.
I'm with you.

The hole system as a .

Now (once again) in the wintertime with soft non RF winter tires the system gives my
a puncture warning everyweek, even if I have the CIP 19.2.

Anyone remember the story about the wolf coming...

But as I had it last summer, the tyre pressure can go really low (practically to none)
and the system doesn't warn at all.

OK, I understand that the system work with RF when driving > 150 mph on the Autobahn
but in normal use...
