Default Fixed onboard Errors

I am sure there is topics somewhere on here about this. I was getting all kinds of errors. There was nothing wrong with the car as far as driving it. I was getting Transmission, Tilt shift, DBC, Drive Control system, and Start of assistance errors on my monitor. I consulted with one guy who thinks it might of been then Crankshaft positioning sensor or alternator, or even the Battery. Got the battery tested but they couldn't test the alternator because of low Volts. To make sure what it was, I took it to BMW for a diagnostic test ($99) and thorough look over. Low and behold it was what we thought it was. It was the Crankshaft positioning sensor which had to be replaced which they wanted $1000+ for parts and labor. The part cost $145 OEM through Dealer or $98 if you got a friend who can get it for you. I took it to an Indi and had the labor done for $150. He cleared out all the errors and car is back on the road with no errors.

Besides that the dealer told me I had a little leak with the bushings which they wanted $1200+ for parts and labor to replace the bushings and control arms. I will take care of this after vacation.

What model do you have? I've been all through the realoem.com parts diagrams and cant find any "Thrust Rod" anywhere? I was asuming something with the front suspension since you said bushings.
