Just drove 300 miles in sunny Piedmont, in the region of some of the most famous wines in the world: Barolo, Dolcetto, Barbera. Fantastic day, lot of pleasure.
And the new car is fantastic!
Here a couple of picture back home, late in the afternoon. More next weekend.

The trouble with the 535d is what do you buy next? Maybe a 545d

[/quote]The surroundings are where I live. Concerning the 545d, noooo waaay. It would be far too heavy and nose unbalanced. I suggest to BMW a lighter (magnesium?) 6 in line, 3.2/3.3 l., twin turbo configuration, worth maybe 320/330 hp. What do you think?
P.S. hey Merv, how much oil burns your baby driving downtown?

I am really envious of you guys in Europe. Such beautiful and clean surroundings. I believe the air there is also fresh and cool too? Great for the family.
Really nice ride you've got there. We don't have diesels in Singapore; only petrol versions as our government forbids privately owned vehicles. There is a misconception that diesel is dirty and contributes to pollution - pure rubbish.

When you go South traffic is nothing less then chaos.
In the North (so that's Genova as well) traffic became much more organised since they got new traffic laws.
Down South they don't seem to care much about the laws.
