First ride in 545

My Ride: 2006 550i Titanium Silver Metallic, Black Dakota Leather, Anthracite Maple Wood Trim, Cold Weather Package, Premium Sound Package, Sport Package, Steptronic, Navigation, Electric Rear Sunshades, Heated Rear Seats, Sirius Radio
I've had my 03 M3 for a little over 2 years now. I love the car, but it lacks some creature comforts and my wife compares riding in the M3 to a stagecoach. Previously I owned an 01 530i which was a very nice luxury sedan. Recently I have pondered returning to a sedan as I really do not track my car, and find it difficult to really drive it the way it is intended to be driven. I test drove an Acuura RL and found it very bland. I drove an Audi A6, and again was less than impressed. Finally I called my client advisor and told him I wanted to drive the 545. I intially was put off by the styling, but over time I have warmed to the look and wanted to see what it drove like.
I drove a 545 with the sport package. I would have to say I was very impressed!The car handles beautifully and it has power and torque. This car gave me a real thrill, and at the same time was really comfortable. Now I'm starting to obsess about what the 550 might be like with even more HP and torque. I may have to make a change.
