Hey guys, this may sound like a real stupid question, but when did you guys get your first oil change when you bought your car. I have an 09' 535 and I just hit 5000 miles and the Idrive hasn't prompted me to change oil yet. However, my friend told me that you should change your oil at 5k miles. So i was curious whether you guys when you guys had your oil changed. Thank you for your time.

I did an early change @ 7500 mi. Change it as often as you like. ~ 14,200 mi is what it's counting down to now so I''ll have about 7000-7500 mi between changes.
