My Ride: My ex-ride: EU '08 LCI 520dA. Space Grey, Sport Seats in Black Leather/Fabric Anthracite, Sport Steering Wheel, A/C with Extended Features, Hi-Fi Speakers, Cup Holders, Cruise with Braking function, Folding Rear Seats, Xenons, Park Distance Control.
Had my car in for the first service today, oil and brake fuel changes.
Progman CIP 24.2 was also installed but I didn't notice any change!?
But the AC fan didn't work, it brings out air only at about "1,5" all the time.
Switching to manual doesn't do any good.
So now I have to take the car in once again for a 5 hour operation!
I had the same problem with my E39 and it took less than 30 minutes.
They say the sensor is somewhere in the dash... :'(

I hope they put your dash back together properly after they have a look at it? It's a recipe for rattles and creaks if not done carefully.
Good luck!

I don't get it... is your problem with a/c due to something they did when they reprogrammed your car or is it an orthogonal event?

But I don't get it either.
I thaught is was a programming failure but it could be a senseor problem as well.
I had the same problem with my E39.
Yesterday after the service the fan didin't work, but today it did
How long does it take for the car to "understand" the new CIP?

OK, I'll have a monologue.
A day after the new chip was installed the AC started working as it should.
Not driving from the service, but a day after that... and still works.
