Thanks for all the positive comments everyone
I forgot to mention that the new 3.0 litre engine is showing really good fuel economy.
I?ve driven about 80% rush hour traffic all week and the OBC is saying an average consumption of 9,6l/100km!! This is very promising considering the fact that engine and tranny are far from broken in. On the motorway with the cruise control set at about 120km/h I get a consumption of 6-7l/100km.
Pretty impressive considering engine size and the very available oomph under the loud pedal

Nice new LED's and the Gray colour is really growin on me! Congrats.
I?m very pleased with Space Gray, looks beautiful and sparkly in sunlight and a classy deep gray in the dark.
I really love this car
Been getting quite a few looks driving around as well, I?m sure thats partly to do with the DRL?s... they make front look evil

Congrats on the new car. I'm in the US and just purchased the 535xi with the TwinTurbo. It really kicks so I know what you mean when you say it's fast. Mine is also space grey. I'm waiting for a nice day to take picts and post. I still don't have any mods on it just the rear deck spoiler.

That brusched alluminium trim is a BIG improvement IMHO over the alu-cube trim that came with the pre-LCI M-Sport pack. Lookin' good.
Congrats and pleased to hear you're enjoying your new ride so much

M-Sport denotes an M tuned uber tight sports suspension that makes the 5 handle like a 3. It uses much stiffer springs and shocks, harder bushings and it uses a good old fashion stiff mechanical anti-roll bar like the M5 does - unlike our U.S. sport packages which use the hydraulic anti-roll bar (except for the cosmetic based sport packs on the xi cars).
Of course, we don't get the track tuned suspension here because the Germans have figured out that the richer we Americans are, the faster and more comfortable we want our status chariots to be -- so we can drag race our neighbors in a straight line.
I was elated when BMW's initial press release for the LCI 550 said "recalibrated M sport suspension". Well the "M Sport" desination was removed from all further press releases, which since March have read simply "recalibrated sports suspension". My guess is that the M division wasn't involved with the retuning. I just wish we could get the same access to performance options that Europe does. Even Canada gets the full spectrum so its not a shipping issue!
Bitter party of one.....
