Well guys I finally picked my car today The vessel it was on was 17 days late to port it was the worst 17 days of my life. It got to VPC on the 10th and it was released to the trucking company the same day I really got lucky that they finished the car early.

Here's some of the things I noticed about the 550i. Let me tell you guys this car is a monster as soon as you step on the gas it just wanna take off when I drove it off the lot i gave it some gas and the RPM just jumped to 5k this car has so much torque its just amazing. Like many people have said the engine is silky smooth its the best car i ever driven.

The comfort seats are amazing too really really comfortable. But after seating in my friends 750Li with ventilated seats makes me wish I ordered those seats too oh well next time.

Also the navigation is different than the 750Li when the 750's nav's in perspective view it shows the streets name but I tried the perspective view in my car and it doesn't show any street names at all. Is there an option for me to get the street names out in perspective view? Kind of disappointed at that.

Lets get to the SMG. I got to say after reading alot of posts about how bad the SMG is I was kind of worried about it but let me tell you, this is by far the best transmission I've driven. At first it was kind of jerky but after a few blocks it was as smooth as Steptronics. Sometimes when I shift from 1 to 2 its still jerks alittle but not too bad. As long as you let off the gas a tiny bit when you shift its gonna be smooth . The ARS works well too it makes the car so stable its an incredible technology.

Comfort Access is working perfectly too. No problems unlocking the doors at all I tried all 4 doors it works great. Locking the doors work perfectly too as long as you leave your thumb where the key hole is for 2 secs and the door looks. Awesome option

Here are some pics of the car there's more in my photo album. Thanks again guys for helping me through the waiting period

P.S oh yeah the steering wheel is straight too I was worried about that subject too.

WHat a nice car. I like the fact that you get things done early too. For example, looks like you hung your Christmas lights seven months ahead of time. Congrats on the ride. How long did it take to get?
