My wife drove the bimmer home that other day just to "P" me off because I had to get her toyota Sequoia inspection. Yesterday 2/14/06, as we were driving home, I was passing people with ease on the freeway. Remember that I'm the fella that has a wife who complains about the "passenger ride" of the E60. Here's the dialogue:
Scene: I'm passing everyone one the freeway with ease varying 65-85 mph.
Wife: Wow, this car has lots of power. You barely step on the pedal to pass people up. And switching from lane to lane, it's so smooth. wow.
Bimmer32: So you like the car, huh?
Wife: Well, it's like my Honda Prelude when I was in college.
Bimmer32: What? Are you kidding me (Thinking to myself, what a disgrace). The bimmer far outperforms and handles your Prelude.
Wife: Well, but I had more money in the bank after purchasing the Prelude.
Bimmer32: (Thinking: You can't win because she does have a point). So. Do you like it or not "PASSENGER?"
Wife: After I drove it the other day, I'm starting to appreciate more now.
Bimmer32: What do you mean? How did you drive it?
Wife: Let's just say your current driving is wussy?

My Ride: 2005 545i SMG. Titanium Grey with Grey interior and Anthracite wood.
I would have been happy with a 530 SMG, but it was my wife who wouldn't let me order it. She demanded a 545 SMG. She is the one who drives it on a daily basis and now I drive the Suburban. Everytime I drive the '45 I keep forgetting how slow the Suburban is. The '45 is a beast.
