the problem is there are only 2 options for dropping the car - HR springs and coilovers. Coilovers are out because with installation and alignment this is a 3000+ mod. The springs is a possibility, but I have had poor experiences in the past with springs ruining the ride on my cars and also causing shocks to go bad prematurely.

As for the price, hey I paid $1100 for paint and install of the OEM M Tech kit on my previous car so I think you got a great deal.
