Finally I am glad to be back on my Summer Tires. I took down the Bridgestone Blizzaks LM22's which I had mounted on 17" OEM that I got from a fellow member (Thanks Presley348 ) and am back to the Dunlop RFT's that came with the car.

I don't notice any significant change in ride quality . However it is raining cats and dogs here in Philadelphia . It felt as if I was dangerously close to losing traction on the RFT's in the downpour.

Since I put on the winter package as soon as I took delivery of the car in November, I am very eager to drive it on performance tires.

Here are pics with the winter pkg. and Original tires.

kryptokat, you're going to have a blast now that you've changed back to the real deal!

I'll most likely be mounting my new summers on Tuesday or Wednesday...I can't wait!

Not so fast here in the Northeast. It's not the weather we have to be careful of anymore but the humongous potholes that still exist. I'll be waiting another month or so to put the running shoes on.

Guess we are in a similiar situation---I finally convinced BMW that the Dunlops RFT's were worthless due to noise after 5k miles. They have agreed to replace the tires but have also told me about a backorder until April 10th. Any idea on what we're getting?

I think my tires were supposed to be at the dealer Friday but I haven't any confirmation. I hate to say it but I think the replacements are going to be Dunlops. It'll be interesting to see if the same thing happens at 7000 miles or so...

(As much as BMW must love this forum to get our feedback, etc., they must hate it because it seems everyone is now printing out the runflat replacement threads and taking them to the dealers -- hopefully Dunlop is paying BMW for the replacements so BMW isn't taking as much of a hit...)
