What's the story of the front plate?

Thanks all, the license plate is a special organizational plate offered by the State of Maryland to the National Capital Chapter of the BMWCCA. I have obliterated my actual number, using the numbers shown on the sample plate. My number would be a perfect fit for the 1962 Chevy made famous by the Beach Boys.

I'm a Marylander, what does the Nat'l. Chapter of the BMWCCA mean, and CCA? Maybe I should think about getting the plates also.....

The BMWCCA is the BMW Car Club of America, and the dues are $40.00 per year. At most of the BMW dealers in the area you get a 10-20% discount on parts and accessories, so with a few purchases this pays for your dues.

When you join the BMWCCA, you automatically become a member of your local Chapter. In our case that is the National Capital Chapter of the BMWCCA. They hold all sorts of events and rallies, and support a number of charities.

If you go to the BMWCCA Website http://www.bmwcca.org you will find the proceedure for joining.

If you go to the National Capital Chapter Website, http://www.nccbmwcca.org you will find under Store, the proceedure for obtaining the Organizational Plate. It costs an additional $25.00 per year over your normal annual registration fee.

Hope this helps, but if not, PM me.

No, I purchased the car from Tischer. I live by the Needwood Golf Course.
